Job Vacancies
Fabricator/Repairer
If you think you have what it takes to be a constant problem solver, enjoy working by yourself and as part of a team, able to use your own initiative and are enthusiastic about doing the job right, then this could be the opportunity for you.
At AJ Horseboxes we primarily undertake repairs on Horseboxes, but also work on race trucks and a multitude of road transport vehicles. These repairs range from electrical issues to hydraulic pumps not operating correctly, locating heating systems issues, replacing new side skirt panels, to full truck sides, making existing lockers and personnel doors fit as they should, replacing under floor bearers, even removing full floors and replacing with new, rebuilding ramp frames, getting them lifting with ease, finding water leaks both on water systems and on the truck body’s to keep them dry inside.
We work with lots of different materials from plastics, fabrics to timber, GRP, copper and brass, so the knowledge of bonding/gluing processes is a must. We use mild steel, Aluminium and stainless steel, so Mig and Tig welding all of these materials is required.
Must be proficient with using power tools safely and have a good knowledge of the use of CNC Press Brake’s, guillotines, bandsaws, punching and cropping machines.
If you like a challenge and hate those repetitive jobs doing the same work over and over then this is for you as every job is different.
AJ Horseboxes is now looking for people that fit this criteria.
